One of my older poems.
"Natures Glory"
Mightier than the lions roar,
Stronger than a tiger,
Its might surpasses that of the wolf,
The fierceness of the shark it belittles.
It is not the soldier,
But the shout of the King is it.
For it's strength surpasses even the sun,
It's elegance the moon,
The stars of the heavens hide their faces from it,
For even the mighty seas turn green with horror.
It's strike is sudden but silent,
Even the mighty oaks shiver with fear.
Light it is but fire it brings,
From the heavens it comes,
Then it is gone.
Where shall you be safe?
Where oh where will you hide?
For light it is but fire it bring,
The arrows of God,
Thundering Lightning.
