A Challenge

This is a challenge

Take time at the end of your day today to sit down, clear your head, and write a short (at least one page) autobiography. Write about your life, what you have accomplished, your biggest struggles and challenges, what made you the most happy, proud, sad, angry, write down your biggest moments—no matter how small they might be. Be brief, but write about who you are and what makes you, you. Now dedicate the last paragraph to the future. What do you expect to happen? How do you expect your life will end up? What are your goals, your hopes, your dreams, and do you plan to achieve them?

Now imagine that you are at the end of your life, you are looking back and writing the closing portion to your autobiography… the very last words that you will ever write. What do you have to write about? What have you achieved now? What were the biggest moments now?

After you finish and before you go to bed, think what will happen if you don’t wakeup this time. Think if you never wrote that autobiography, someone else would write a biography for you. What would they say? How would it compare? They don’t truly understand what you want to achieve. They don’t understand exactly how those moments made you feel. Only you could know, and only you can explain it.

You can dream of tomorrow, but if you die today, those dreams die with you. Speak your dreams and make them come true. Be the person who tells everyone who you are… don’t leave that for some one else.
