Poetry and life go hand in hand; neither can truly be understood, but both are greatly adored.

“The Genesis From Two”

7/7/14 - This is a poem based off of a story I am currently working on. It is about the creation of the universe.

“The Genesis From Two”

Before the beginning there was but one.
Suspended in that lonely ever flowing Void.
Separated in two as to not be so alone.
They lasted long but could only annoy.
Agitated, they began to fight,
Created a big burst of light.
And light, and time, and life came to exist.
Soon the worlds began to spin,
Grazed over by the shepherds that cared.
Like mud clumps we rolled up to live.
Each with breath,
And across the stars our brothers rest.
Until it’s final.
When the two reunite.
When life is retied.
Then it is done,
When we unify,
And life that becomes—
Comes to bide,
And bide alone—
Alone to come—
To become one.
